I wo...I too am very disappointed to learn of this. I wonder if it is being discontinued because a lot of people were abusing the privledge (giving out Office licenses to friends and family, etc). If the MSDN alternative was comparable, I wouldn't complain so much about moving to a MSDN subscription. I've learned a lot of key Microsoft technologies with my TechNet subscription, and I am very sad to see it discontinued. It is going to make it very tough for newbies to become familiar with key technologies such as System Center. Expiring trial editions don't matc...This sucks. Expiring trial editions don't match with not expiring software. And above all, my subscription ends October 15, so I don't get the chance to renew.
