Exchange 2010 MP: Exchange Test CAS Connectivity user gets locked out

Bumped into this issue at a customers site. The Exchange Test CAS Connectivity user account got locked out all the time which generated many Alerts in the SCOM R2 Console.

However, since the monitored Ex2010 environment was still under construction, we ignored it. But as soon as Exchange 2010 was about to go life, we had to take a deeper dive and solve it. Gladly the team responsible for the Ex2010 implementation found a KB article which described the issue we were experiencing.

As it turned out, impersonation on the RPC and RPC had to be enabled. Want to know more? Read KB2022687.
