This MP runs on SCOM 2007 R2 and higher. HOWEVER, the website states ‘…You must use the latest CU for whatever version you have installed…’.
Decide for yourself to what extend this MP will check for that ‘requirement’ 
. But when having issues AND not running the latest CU, Microsoft CSS will ask you to do so, before they can continue delivering their support to you.
