Sometime ago I helped a customer to use SCOM in order to count their LOB application crashes as a performance counter and to create a report for it and a performance View in SCOM.
In order to get the job done I used the FREE NiCE Log File MP, PowerShell & some regular expressions. Yes, it took me some time to get it right, but it works and that’s awesome.
So I am going to rebuild this in my own lab since I don’t want to share customer specific information. When that setup is working I am going to blog about it in order to ‘spread the word’
