Create Counters Failed: Access to the registry key 'Global' is denied.

On the (SCOM) server hosting the SCOM WebConsole the above mentioned error might occur. EventID 10, source WebConsole is logged in the OpsMgr eventlog of the SCOM server:


Workaround: Add the group(s) which grant the users access to the SCOM WebConsole to the local groups 'Users' and 'Performance Monitor Users' groups on the server which hosts the SCOM WebConsole.
