With OpsMgr SP1 the display name change of a managed entity isn’t synchronized with the Data Warehouse database. For instance, you create a group named Exchange Servers. Later you change that name to Exchange 2010 Servers. When creating a report targeted against that group, you’ll will only find the original name, not the name it is changed to.

For this issue Microsoft has released a hotfix (a SQL query which must be run against the Data Warehouse). KB972881 describes it and contains the hotfix.

This hotfix is meant for OpsMgr SP1 installations ONLY!
