PowerGUI with PowerPack for OpsMgr

Came across this tool on the Microsoft TechNet Operations Manager Forums. It is a free gui for PowerShell and has also an extension for OpsMgr, aka PowerPack.

When installed and correctly configured one can get a quick look into their OpsMgr environment. Also certain tasks can be executed. Some screen dumps:

A quick run of a PS command:

In the screen: Command selection, parameters to be defined. Click OK.

Also a script editor is to be found, with a debugger. Seems to work great (added an error just to see if it is working):

Haven’t got time to take a deeper dive but the first sights do look very promising! PowerPack to be downloaded here. First the PowerGUI needs to be installed before the PowerPack can be used. PowerGUI can be downloaded from here.

Hi Marnix,

The PowerPacks that are included in PowerGUI and many that are posted on the website are my responsibility. OpsMgr is one PowerPack where I could use more community input. If you see opportunities to extend the OpsMgr PowerPack by adding additional nodes and actions, please let me know what you would like to see. All of the functionality in PowerGUI is very heavily influenced by community feedback, and we'd love to hear what you would like to see in future releases of that PowerPack (or any other PowerPacks for that matter).

Thanks,
